Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lisnabrack's Keefe Glen Crowe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Lisnabrack's goal looked a bit too open when Babe McWillie came free, but Bradagain Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hewney Brennan took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bradagain Hamilton. Bradagain Hamilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Babe McWillie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradagain Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawd Savic was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Keefe Glen Crowe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barnaderg's goalkeeper Pawd Savic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Pawd Savic managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Lisnabrack's Bragan Gallagher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Babe McWillie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bradagain Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keefe Glen Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawd Savic having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Babe McWillie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Babe McWillie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradagain Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawd Savic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keefe Glen Crowe in the 53rd minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Lisnabrack got a freekick which was hit by Brine Hutton. A collision led to Barnaderg getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dennis Molloy hit a great ball. Brannagh Caffey didn't quite understand what happened when in the 61 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Lisnabrack's Beehan Coyle got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Bera Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Bragan Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barnaderg's zone, Keefe Glen Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawd Savic came out of the goal and Keefe Glen Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnaderg's Pawd Savic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bragan Gallagher in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Lisnabrack getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Brine Hutton hit a great ball. Bradagain Hamilton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hewney Brennan in the 81st minute. Hewney Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradagain Hamilton having to interfere. With his leg Bradagain Hamilton managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Barnaderg's Hewney Brennan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Lisnabrack's Bradagain Hamilton got control of the ball when Hewney Brennan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Barnaderg booed when Lisnabrack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beehan Coyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Babe McWillie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradagain Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
