Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) Suibhne McCollion started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. George Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Fionntán McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rian Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Legland's goalkeeper couldn't reach when George Doyle 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Strand's goal looked a bit too open when Suibhne McCollion came free, but Kyle Colwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Legland's Berry Gough got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Suibhne McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Suibhne McCollion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legland's supporters rose to their feet, but Suibhne McCollion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyle Colwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Bartel MaCollin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Suibhne McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Legland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Suibhne McCollion couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Bartel MaCollin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kyle Colwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when George Doyle made the kick off in the second half. Legland's Rian Ramsey pulled a muscle in his back after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Strand getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Beairtle McAlphie hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Legland's goal looked a bit too open when Bearach O'Keefe came free, but Fionntán McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Strand's Bradaigh Doherty got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fionntán McAlphie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Doyle in the 66th minute of the match. Suibhne McCollion hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Fionntán McAlphie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Bartel MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartel MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Colwell having to interfere. Donn McJames charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donn McJames the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Legland fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Fionntán McAlphie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Doyle in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Bartel MaCollin made a precise shot to the right of Kyle Colwell. Strand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. George Doyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Legland booed when Strand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shamus McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Donn McJames in the 95th minute really tested Kyle Colwell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 96 minutes into the game, Bartel MaCollin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strand the free kick. After 96 played minutes Legland got a freekick which was hit by Bartel MaCollin. Legland's Fionntán McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Doyle in the 98th minute of play. The Strand supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Legland's performance. The match ended with a win for Legland.
