Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cian Harkin made the kick off which started today's match. Cleary Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rorke Scully made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Cian Harkin sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gerald Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumbilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerald Colwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thom Ryan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gerald Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Boethis Perth fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rorke Scully, passed just outside the right post. Drumbilla's Rorke Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boethis Perth in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Herygh McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 17 minutes, Cian Harkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardmeen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cian Harkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caoilte Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Gerald Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumbilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerald Colwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drumbilla's Caoilte Tracy got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerald Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Thom Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thom Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caoilte Tracy in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Caoilte Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumbilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caoilte Tracy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Cian Harkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rorke Scully. Drumbilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cian Harkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Drumbilla's Bressail McPhil got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Gerald Colwell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thom Ryan. Ardmeen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerald Colwell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Ardmeen's Cian Harkin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ardmeen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumbilla the free kick. A collision led to Ardmeen getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cleary Tracy hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ardmeen's Cleary Tracy got a free kick in the 58th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Drumbilla's Caoilte Tracy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thom Ryan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Kevin Jameson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ardmeen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumbilla the free kick. The supporters of Drumbilla booed when Ardmeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Jameson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
