Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joshua Sheridan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 10 minutes into the match, Shannagh Utd's Brant Silke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Banan Deans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maryfield's goalkeeper Banan Deans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maryfield's Bedilia Kelly came free and shot a quick shot against goal 17 minutes in the game, fortunately Bracken Brennan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 24 played minutes, Shannagh Utd's Briain McGlenn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Banan Deans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shannagh Utd reached it. Banan Deans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baoithin Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brant Silke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baoithin Prunty scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Banan Deans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30th play minutes Baoithin Prunty shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Banan Deans and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bedilia Kelly got free with Bracken Brennan in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bracken Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedilia Kelly struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Bracken Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maryfield. Joshua Sheridan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bracken Brennan having to make a save. Baoithin Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Banan Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bracken Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Sheridan in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Shannagh Utd were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Beglan McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Shannagh Utd's Harry Hunt got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joshua Sheridan in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bracken Brennan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joshua Sheridan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Bracken Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maryfield. 67 minutes into the match, Shannagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Sheridan came free, but Bracken Brennan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Shannagh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baoithin Prunty to maneuver through the defense. If Joshua Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Joshua Sheridan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Shannagh Utd's Bracken Brennan . Bracken Brennan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Bedilia Kelly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bracken Brennan was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Maryfield's goal looked a bit too open when Baoithin Prunty came free, but Banan Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Beglan McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bracken Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Harry Hunt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shannagh Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maryfield the free kick. Harry Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shannagh Utd's zone, Bedilia Kelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bracken Brennan came out of the goal and Bedilia Kelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Shannagh Utd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
