Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Finnigan McMichel made the kick off and thus started the match. When Maryfield's Joshua Sheridan in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garr FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bedilia Kelly who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Breffni Tracy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7thth minute of the game Finnigan McMichel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maryfield's Banan Deans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Brennen Ryan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedilia Kelly in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Breffni Tracy, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Maryfield defense, Finnigan McMichel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Banan Deans. The Maryfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Banan Deans should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Maryfield's goal looked a bit too open when Brennen Ryan came free, but Banan Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Banan Deans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brennen Ryan in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Garr FC's Brennen Ryan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Banan Deans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Joshua Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maryfield's Healy McPeter got a free kick in the 30th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Bedilia Kelly dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Breffni Tracy, 1-2. Joshua Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breffni Tracy having to interfere. Breffni Tracy had great luck who in the 45thth minute grab hold of the ball when Joshua Sheridan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Bedilia Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joshua Sheridan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Garr FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Healy McPeter who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Healy McPeter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Garr FC's Breffni Tracy did a great save. 58 minutes into the match, Joshua Sheridan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breffni Tracy. Garr FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joshua Sheridan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Donegan McJames charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donegan McJames the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Donegan McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Joshua Sheridan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maryfield and the Garr FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joshua Sheridan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Breffni Tracy came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Maryfield's Ainnle Brennan. But to his dismay, Ainnle Brennan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 73rd minute, Joshua Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finnigan McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Banan Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breffni Tracy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedilia Kelly in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Maryfield's Bedilia Kelly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breffni Tracy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Garr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bedilia Kelly came free, but Breffni Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bedilia Kelly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Breffni Tracy having to make a save. After 89 played minutes Garr FC got a freekick which was hit by Suibhne McCollion. In the 92nd minute of the match Maryfield got a corner. Garr FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Healy McPeter ran over to the corner to take the kick.
