Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Boyne Coyle kicked off to start the match. Harkin Caffrey was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes Battiemount got a freekick which was hit by Harkin Caffrey. 8 minutes into the game, Braedon Palmer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bodibeua Callaghan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Herygh McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerald Colwell took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bodibeua Callaghan. Bodibeua Callaghan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Battiemount's Bodibeua Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Colwell in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Battiemount was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beagan Glen Crowe to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Conn Cooney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bodibeua Callaghan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Drumbilla's Rorke Scully got control of the ball when Boyne Coyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herygh McIan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerald Colwell to make the kick off. Rorke Scully took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Críostóir McNamara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Drumbilla booed when Battiemount was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lochlainn Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball.
