Rorke Scully showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hewney Brennan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Caoilte Tracy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pawd Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caoilte Tracy in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pawd Savic, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Braedon Palmer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pawd Savic. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Babe McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hewney Brennan in the 21st minute of play forced Drumbilla's goalkeeper Rorke Scully to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Drumbilla's zone, Babe McWillie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rorke Scully came out of the goal and Babe McWillie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Barnaderg getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Artt McIan hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Gerald Colwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caoilte Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
58 minutes into the game, Artt McIan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnaderg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drumbilla the free kick. Artt McIan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, Barnaderg's Hewney Brennan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rorke Scully was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pawd Savic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerald Colwell went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Babe McWillie took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Rorke Scully to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Barnaderg getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Babe McWillie hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Hewney Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnaderg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hewney Brennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Braedon Palmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drumbilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnaderg the free kick. Barnaderg's Bray Gollogley shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rorke Scully but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Drumbilla had won after a very even match.
