Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Suibhne McCollion got the match started through his kick off. Bartel MaCollin struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Breffni Tracy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legland. Braoin Hunt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fionntán McAlphie. Legland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Breffni Tracy made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Bartel MaCollin sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Finnigan McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garr FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Finnigan McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fionntán McAlphie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes of play, Garr FC's Finnigan McMichel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fionntán McAlphie was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Suibhne McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breffni Tracy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rian Ramsey in the 29th minute of the match. Breffni Tracy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Suibhne McCollion's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Garr FC got a freekick which was hit by Donegan McJames. Suibhne McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Breffni Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Suibhne McCollion struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tipraite Dunne's late challenge caught a Legland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tipraite Dunne helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Garr FC got a freekick which was hit by Tipraite Dunne. Bartel MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breffni Tracy having to interfere. 51 minutes into the game, Keelin Brennan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Breffni Tracy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Breffni Tracy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartel MaCollin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Keelin Brennan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garr FC the free kick. A collision led to Legland getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Keelin Brennan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Suibhne McCollion in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breffni Tracy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 74th minute of the match Tipraite Dunne completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tipraite Dunne a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Garr FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tipraite Dunne hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Suibhne McCollion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breffni Tracy was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Bartel MaCollin made a precise shot to the right of Breffni Tracy. Garr FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. A collision led to Garr FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Donegan McJames hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Legland's Donn McJames tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Garr FC's zone, Suibhne McCollion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breffni Tracy came out of the goal and Suibhne McCollion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bartel MaCollin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Legland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartel MaCollin couldn't finish the play. Suibhne McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Breffni Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garr FC's Breffni Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suibhne McCollion in the 94th minute of play. Bartel MaCollin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Legland players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
