With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patton McCollion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Swineford Utd's Shannon Rutherford got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braeden Ghee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bec Palmer having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Swineford Utd got a freekick which was hit by Shannon Rutherford. Bec Palmer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braeden Ghee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Shannon Rutherford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patton McCollion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Ballylusk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorry Myler to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Bearnad McTom tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Patton McCollion. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 67th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Shannon Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swineford Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shannon Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Swineford Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tory McMichel to maneuver through the defense. Patton McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shannon Rutherford in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shannon Rutherford in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patton McCollion saved Ballylusk from getting behind. Patton McCollion was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Shannon Rutherford showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. In the 96th minute Shannon Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patton McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
