Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeremiah Kelly got the match started through his kick off. Conaill Scully didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rorry Myler went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Patton McCollion was a little too slow when Berchan McTommy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Boyce Kelly fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballylusk's protests and gave Boyce Kelly a yellow card for diving instead. Boyce Kelly kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Canningstown FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Colm Doherty hit a great ball. Conaill Scully made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradaigh Gollogley in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Braeden Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conaill Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ballylusk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rourke Mulvihill in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ballylusk's goalkeeper Patton McCollion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brannen McDecland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremiah Kelly in the 28th minute of play forced Ballylusk's goalkeeper Patton McCollion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canningstown FC's Brannen McDecland got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brannen McDecland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ballylusk's Patton McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berchan McTommy in the 37th minute of play. Brannen McDecland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Patton McCollion when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ballylusk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Berchan McTommy scored to the left of an out of position Patton McCollion, making the score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Braeden Ghee made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bradaigh Gollogley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patton McCollion didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Canningstown FC's Breannain McBrand shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jeremiah Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Brannen McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patton McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Breffni Branson put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Canningstown FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! 4-2 came through a penalty shot after 65 played minutes, when Ballylusk:s Rourke Mulvihill calmly waited for Canningstown FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Jeremiah Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patton McCollion having to interfere. Patton McCollion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremiah Kelly in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jeremiah Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canningstown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremiah Kelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patton McCollion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brannen McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patton McCollion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannen McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Jeremiah Kelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patton McCollion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patton McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brannen McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Jeremiah Kelly had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patton McCollion. Ballylusk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremiah Kelly was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2.
