The Swineford Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Fiachra O'Down had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bec Palmer. Swineford Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fiachra O'Down was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cáirbre Dimson's late challenge caught a Sessiagh Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryley McDonald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Coileán Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Sessiagh Utd's Shey Grant suffered a sore thigh after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. There was no doubt that Swineford Utd were the better team. Swineford Utd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
