Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fiachra O'Down made the kick off and thus started the match. Brite McOliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boroimhe Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Beckett having to interfere. Séamus Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ryley McDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryley McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dillon Brennan in the 12th minute of the match. Boroimhe Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Beckett having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Boroimhe Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sessiagh Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boroimhe Brennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Séamus Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ryley McDonald made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, Fiachra O'Down cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Colm Beckett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Dillon Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilfenora's supporters rose to their feet, but Dillon Brennan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryley McDonald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ryley McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dillon Brennan in the 28th minute of the match. Ryley McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dillon Brennan in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Dillon Brennan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ryley McDonald was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Denny McCollion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boroimhe Brennan might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Colm Beckett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boroimhe Brennan ran back to his position shaking his head. Sessiagh Utd's Boroimhe Brennan managed to work through Kilfenora's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Boroimhe Brennan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Fiachra O'Down managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sessiagh Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiachra O'Down was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Colm Beckett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dillon Brennan to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sessiagh Utd's Pauric Dimson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dillon Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryley McDonald having to interfere. Séamus Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryley McDonald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Dillon Brennan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sessiagh Utd's Ryley McDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Kilfenora's Dillon Brennan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryley McDonald narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Séamus Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Séamus Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryley McDonald having to make a save. Fiachra O'Down received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Colm Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kilfenora fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sessiagh Utd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
