If Fionntán Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Derin McWillie came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Loskeran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derin McWillie couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Breaghdha Lester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryley McDonald. Sessiagh Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breaghdha Lester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Breaghdha Lester came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Loskeran fans jumped to their feet. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breaghdha Lester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Breaghdha Lester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sessiagh Utd's Ryley McDonald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barcvni Cronin during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 60 minutes, Fiachra O'Down managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sessiagh Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiachra O'Down was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Emmet Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Breaghdha Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fionntán Murphy in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ryley McDonald, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fionntán Murphy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ryley McDonald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 69th minute Breaghdha Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryley McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Derin McWillie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryley McDonald having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sessiagh Utd's zone, Breaghdha Lester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryley McDonald came out of the goal and Breaghdha Lester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Sessiagh Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Breaghdha Lester fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breaghdha Lester in the 88th minute of play forced Sessiagh Utd's goalkeeper Ryley McDonald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Derin McWillie fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loskeran's protests and gave Derin McWillie a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Loskeran getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Derin McWillie hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sessiagh Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Fionntán Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryley McDonald having to interfere. Loskeran's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
