Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felim Mullan started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brett Doherty got free with Donavin Barrett in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breaghdha Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Breaghdha Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batt McSteven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brett Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donavin Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felim Mullan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Felim Mullan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donavin Barrett. Felim Mullan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Breaghdha Lester might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batt McSteven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breaghdha Lester ran back to his position shaking his head. Breaghdha Lester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batt McSteven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Louth Utd booed when Loskeran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barcvni Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Brett Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Louth Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Brett Doherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donavin Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Loskeran got a freekick which was hit by Barcvni Cronin. Donavin Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felim Mullan in the 38th minute of play. If Fionntán Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batt McSteven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breaghdha Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breaghdha Lester to strike the kick off in the second half. Loskeran's Donavin Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felim Mullan in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Louth Utd's Brett Doherty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donavin Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 57thth minute of the game Breaghdha Lester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Louth Utd's Batt McSteven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brede Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Loskeran's Fionntán Murphy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Donavin Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brett Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Barcvni Cronin hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Brett Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breaghdha Lester received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Batt McSteven came out and tried to block the shot, but Breaghdha Lester slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 70th minute. Fionntán Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donavin Barrett came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Louth Utd's Donald Hunt. But to his dismay, Donald Hunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Loskeran's Donavin Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Doherty in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Loskeran getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Boethis Gallagher hit a great ball.
