Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brazil Hunt made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Timothy Dempsey sent off a good shot on target. Bowie Deans came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Cavan Utd's Rourke McGlynn. But to his dismay, Rourke McGlynn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rourke McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Glanawaddra booed when Cavan Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tierney McDecland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry McWillie lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Harry McWillie hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Cáirbre Caffrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazil Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Glanawaddra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, Cavan Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conor Mullan to maneuver through the defense. Beara McSteven got in the 32nd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Brazil Hunt. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-1. After 37 minutes of play, Cavan Utd's Brandan McPaul made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bowie Deans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gehan Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cáirbre Caffrey to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bhrighde McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glanawaddra's supporters rose to their feet, but Bhrighde McPaul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazil Hunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bhrighde McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Glanawaddra booed when Cavan Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conor Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bearnard McPeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bowie Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brazil Hunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cáirbre Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
