Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cáirbre Caffrey to make the kick off. Seán Colwell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Bowie Deans made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Seán Colwell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moylough fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Seán Colwell kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Bhrighde McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cahir Benson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bhrighde McPaul came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Glanawaddra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bhrighde McPaul couldn't finish the play. Cahir Benson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cáirbre Caffrey in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Glanawaddra booed when Moylough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendan Branson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Moylough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bourns Murphy to maneuver through the defense. Brendan Branson was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Brendan Branson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cáirbre Caffrey in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cahir Benson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Glanawaddra's Bowie Deans got control of the ball when Seán Colwell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artuir Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bowie Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moylough's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
