An unexpectedly hard shot by Donncha Dimson in the 15th minute of play forced Belleek FC's goalkeeper Flann Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Bren McFrank sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flann Ghee skillfully saved the ball. Teddy Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Belleek FC booed when Moyne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tathan McJon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Belleek FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Belleek FC's Brogan Crowe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Moyne's Donncha Dimson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belleek FC's Flann Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peadar Doherty in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Belleek FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cormac Cassin hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Branigan Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cormac Cassin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Belleek FC's zone, Peadar Doherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flann Ghee came out of the goal and Peadar Doherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Austin Martyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peadar Doherty to strike the kick off in the second half. When Brogan Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Belleek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brogan Crowe couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Belleek FC's Flann Ghee got control of the ball when Donncha Dimson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flann Ghee made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Donncha Dimson sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Austin Martyn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beothach O'Brien. Moyne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Austin Martyn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 65th minute, Bren McFrank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Peadar Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Moyne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peadar Doherty couldn't finish the play. Austin Martyn scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beothach O'Brien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Donncha Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes, Belleek FC's Austin Martyn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beothach O'Brien came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belleek FC reached it. Brogan Crowe scored 4-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beothach O'Brien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Branigan Kirby fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belleek FC's protests and gave Branigan Kirby a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Flann Ghee successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Belleek FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Moyne had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
