Moyne's Beothach O'Brien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Moyne from getting a goal against them. Tierney McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach O'Brien having to interfere. Rourke McGlynn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Beothach O'Brien when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Caoilte McPhil fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moyne's protests and gave Caoilte McPhil a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Moyne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caoilte McPhil to maneuver through the defense.
