In the 22nd match minute, Moyne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tathan McJon to maneuver through the defense. Beothach O'Brien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cáirbre Caffrey in the 27th minute of the match. Cáirbre Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach O'Brien having to interfere. When Blaine Molloy fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glanawaddra's protests and gave Blaine Molloy a yellow card for diving instead. Dillon McFrank hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Blaine Molloy was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Blaine Molloy hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Moyne's Bren McFrank couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Glanawaddra. Bowie Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peadar Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Moyne's goalkeeper Beothach O'Brien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bhrighde McPaul. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Bhrighde McPaul made the kick off in the second half. Peadar Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bowie Deans having to interfere. Brenn Ryan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Bren McFrank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Bowie Deans made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Roy MaCollin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glanawaddra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moyne the free kick. Roy MaCollin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Donncha Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bowie Deans having to interfere. If Peadar Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cáirbre Caffrey hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Bhrighde McPaul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Timothy Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute of the match, Donncha Dimson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bowie Deans was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 94th match minute, Moyne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peadar Doherty to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Peadar Doherty's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bowie Deans was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
