In the 3rd minute, Austin McFrancise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tevin McOliver fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moyne's protests and gave Tevin McOliver a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Moyne getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tevin McOliver hit a great ball. Peadar Doherty might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gordan McTom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peadar Doherty ran back to his position shaking his head. Gordan McTom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peadar Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Baoithin Caffrey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belvelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moyne the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Belvelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baoithin Caffrey to maneuver through the defense. If Peadar Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Bren McFrank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austin McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Austin McFrancise came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Belvelly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Austin McFrancise couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Moyne's goalkeeper Beothach O'Brien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berchan McJon during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berchan McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Peadar Doherty struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gordan McTom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moyne. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peadar Doherty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Austin McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belvelly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Austin McFrancise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gordan McTom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donncha Dimson in the 55th minute of play. Austin McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach O'Brien having to interfere. Austin McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Belvelly's Austin McFrancise got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Austin McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belvelly's supporters rose to their feet, but Austin McFrancise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beothach O'Brien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, Belvelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baoithin Caffrey to maneuver through the defense. Peadar Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gordan McTom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Donncha Dimson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moyne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donncha Dimson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berchan McJon got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 82nd minute, Berchan McJon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bren McFrank took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gordan McTom. Belvelly's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Moyne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bren McFrank to maneuver through the defense. Donncha Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gordan McTom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peadar Doherty in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Peadar Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyne's supporters rose to their feet, but Peadar Doherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordan McTom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Belvelly players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Moyne from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
