Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brogan Crowe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Belleek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cormac Cassin to maneuver through the defense. Begley Myler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Belleek FC's goalkeeper Flann Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donncha Molloy. Begley Myler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Begley Myler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flann Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Belleek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Begley Myler came free, but Flann Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Begley Myler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carrigdangan's Begley Myler got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donncha Molloy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Flann Ghee made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Austin Martyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brogan Crowe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard McPeter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Begley Myler struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Flann Ghee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrigdangan. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Begley Myler made a kick off. A collision led to Belleek FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Basil McGlynn hit a great ball. After 53 minutes of play, Carrigdangan's Donncha Molloy made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flann Ghee was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belleek FC's Flann Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donncha Molloy in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Belleek FC booed when Carrigdangan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teigue Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes, Flannery McOliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belleek FC and the Carrigdangan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flannery McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Carrigdangan booed when Belleek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beacan McLiam didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donncha Molloy in the 86th minute of play forced Belleek FC's goalkeeper Flann Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Blair McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flann Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flannery McOliver got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute, one of Belleek FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belleek FC. Donncha Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Flann Ghee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carrigdangan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
