Austin Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Brogan Crowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seán Colwell in the 30th minute of play forced Belleek FC's goalkeeper Flann Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Moylough booed when Belleek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flannery McOliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Belleek FC's zone, Seán Colwell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flann Ghee came out of the goal and Seán Colwell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flann Ghee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seán Colwell went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Brogan Crowe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Cahir Benson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brogan Crowe struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Cahir Benson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belleek FC.

After 52 played minutes Belleek FC got a freekick which was hit by Branigan Kirby. If Brogan Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belleek FC's Flann Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darragh McOliver in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Belleek FC's Boyle Johnson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Bourns Murphy charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Flann Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artuir Kirby in the 86th minute of the match. The nice shot from Seán Colwell in the 87thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Flann Ghee had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Branigan Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the match was over Moylough could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belleek FC throughout the match.
