Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Walker took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Glanawaddra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blaine Molloy to maneuver through the defense. Bowie Deans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadair MaCollin in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Glanawaddra getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Perry McDecland hit a great ball. Peadair MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bowie Deans having to interfere. Timothy Dempsey hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blaine Molloy during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Breanne Deery shot a long shot in the 27th minute and a light blocked Bowie Deans hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Peadair MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bowie Deans having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Peadair MaCollin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peadair MaCollin scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bowie Deans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cáirbre Caffrey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Branson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Knockbodaly got a freekick which was hit by Caroll Myler. The Glanawaddra players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Knockbodaly were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cáirbre Caffrey was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Knockbodaly's Peadair MaCollin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bowie Deans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Glanawaddra's Timothy Dempsey got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Peadair MaCollin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bowie Deans having to interfere. Bercan Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bowie Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Branson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cáirbre Caffrey in the 65th minute of play. Arnold Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cáirbre Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Peadair MaCollin made a precise shot to the right of Bowie Deans. Glanawaddra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Caroll Myler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peadair MaCollin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bowie Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cáirbre Caffrey in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Branson saved Knockbodaly from getting behind. A collision led to Knockbodaly getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Peadair MaCollin hit a great ball. Peadair MaCollin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Bowie Deans made a huge save. Cáirbre Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Arnold Branson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bowie Deans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peadair MaCollin in the 89th minute.
