Taveon Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boudibiua McJohnny having to interfere. Despite this Boudibiua McJohnny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Boyce Ferguson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballyroan FC's Boyce Ferguson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Booak MaCollin. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Boudibiua McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyce Ferguson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Booak MaCollin having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyce Ferguson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyce Ferguson in the 85th minute of play forced Pottlerath AFC's goalkeeper Booak MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ballyroan FC's Boyce Ferguson got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Boyce Ferguson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ballyroan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyce Ferguson couldn't finish the play. If Keelin McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ballyroan FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
