After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Beale MaCollin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castlecarra Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Beale MaCollin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Booak MaCollin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keely Caffey hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Donlan Gallagher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Lee Harkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Booak MaCollin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Taveon Gollogley made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Ros McDonald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pottlerath AFC and the Castlecarra Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ros McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Flann Ferguson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castlecarra Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castlecarra Utd's goalkeeper Donlan Gallagher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beatty Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pottlerath AFC's Taveon Gollogley got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taveon Gollogley made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 90thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Donlan Gallagher would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Taveon Gollogley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Donlan Gallagher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Castlecarra Utd were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
