Donavin Horgan struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Brosnan McJohn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Eagle AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Darrick Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot. White Eagle AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darrick Holt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brosnan McJohn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When DublinZone's Miklós Lovas in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye White Eagle AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in White Eagle AFC's zone, Ding Matthäus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan Todd came out of the goal and Ding Matthäus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DublinZone's Brosnan McJohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donavin Horgan in the 15th minute of play. Brosnan McJohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darrick Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, DublinZone's goal looked a bit too open when Donavin Horgan came free, but Brosnan McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miklós Lovas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendan Todd was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Brosnan McJohn came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by White Eagle AFC's Donavin Horgan. But to his dismay, Donavin Horgan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, White Eagle AFC's goalkeeper Brendan Todd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miklós Lovas. 46 minutes into the match, Miklós Lovas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of White Eagle AFC's Brendan Todd. Brendan Todd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darrick Holt to strike the kick off in the second half. When DublinZone's Miklós Lovas in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye White Eagle AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Brendan Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Lovas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Leonard Piesciuk came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the DublinZone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Piesciuk couldn't finish the play. After 68th play minutes Miklós Lovas shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Brendan Todd and just under the crossbar into goal. 74 minutes into the game, Berry McGlynn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. White Eagle AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DublinZone the free kick. In the 74th match minute, White Eagle AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry McGlynn to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of White Eagle AFC booed when DublinZone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ding Matthäus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brosnan McJohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrick Holt in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Miklós Lovas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendan Todd was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 84th match minute, White Eagle AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darrick Holt to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Miklós Lovas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Piesciuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of DublinZone booed when White Eagle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berchan McOliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miklós Lovas, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Brendan Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Piesciuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Brendan Todd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miklós Lovas's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
