In the 2nd minute Conn McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brendan Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conn McWill in the 4th minute of the match. If Cian McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in White Eagle AFC's zone, Conn McWill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan Todd came out of the goal and Conn McWill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Conn McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendan Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conn McWill in the 25th minute of play. Cian McDecland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Brendan Todd made a huge save. Darrick Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donavin Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Samueil McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Conn McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rossgeir booed when White Eagle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roordan McGlenn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quaid Frankson's late challenge caught a Rossgeir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quaid Frankson helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes White Eagle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Quaid Frankson. If Conn McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rian Perth shot from long distance in the 45th minute, but Brendan Todd was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Darrick Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Conn McWill made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Darrick Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Eagle AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darrick Holt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brendan Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cian McDecland in the 58th minute of the match. Rossgeir's Samueil McDecland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Rossgeir from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Cian McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brendan Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cian McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cian McDecland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, White Eagle AFC's Bairre Beckett seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bairre Beckett the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of White Eagle AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bairre Beckett had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 78th minute, one of White Eagle AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for White Eagle AFC. Rian Perth walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Conn McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Brendan Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conn McWill in the 90th minute of play forced White Eagle AFC's goalkeeper Brendan Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th match minute, White Eagle AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donal Morrison to maneuver through the defense.
