Rossgeir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doohat the free kick. Harley Frankson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Doohat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alan McBrand in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alan McBrand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samueil McDecland quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cian McDecland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bannon McTom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herygh Horgan in the 15th minute of play forced Rossgeir's goalkeeper Samueil McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conn McWill in the 17th minute of play forced Doohat's goalkeeper Bannon McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herygh Horgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samueil McDecland having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Barhart McJon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patton Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samueil McDecland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patton Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Conn McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Donncha McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rossgeir's Samueil McDecland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donncha McLiam in the 32nd minute of play. Herygh Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Samueil McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samueil McDecland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herygh Horgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harley Frankson was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Harley Frankson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rossgeir getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rian Perth hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cian McDecland made a kick off. Barra McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Herygh Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blanaid Ghee hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Samueil McDecland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patton Frankson in the 58th minute of the match. Barra McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Cian McDecland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossgeir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cian McDecland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blanaid Ghee in the 68th minute of play forced Doohat's goalkeeper Bannon McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samueil McDecland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patton Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th match minute, Rossgeir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Beckett to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rossgeir's zone, Herygh Horgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samueil McDecland came out of the goal and Herygh Horgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cian McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doohat's Bannon McTom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cian McDecland in the 83rd minute of play. Herygh Horgan took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samueil McDecland. Samueil McDecland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Rossgeir's Cian McDecland got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Doohat walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
