When Barnaby Dunne fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ullard's protests and gave Barnaby Dunne a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Ullard got a freekick which was hit by Barnaby Dunne. The supporters of FC Suduva booed when Ullard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás McLaughlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pembroke Ghee during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gil Matthews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bairee Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curran John stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Barnaby Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
