After a defensive mix-up in LadysBridge F.C.'s zone, Desmond McWillie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breas Robinson came out of the goal and Desmond McWillie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cassidy Hunt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the LadysBridge F.C. defense, Desmond McWillie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Breas Robinson. The LadysBridge F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breas Robinson should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tallaght United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sameer Robinson hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Brion Gillmour shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Louis Rutherford showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Louis Rutherford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Tierney, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Donavan McVictor struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Louis Rutherford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LadysBridge F.C.. After having played for 35 minutes, Cassidy Hunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallaght United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassidy Hunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louis Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Tierney in the 39th minute of the match. Breas Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassidy Hunt in the 45th minute of the match. Bricin Deans charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bricin Deans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brion Gillmour was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cassidy Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breas Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassidy Hunt in the 60th minute of the match. Breas Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassidy Hunt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. LadysBridge F.C.'s Breas Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond McWillie in the 70th minute of play. Desmond McWillie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breas Robinson having to interfere. Breas Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desmond McWillie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassidy Hunt might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breas Robinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cassidy Hunt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, Randal Taylor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis Rutherford made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Berke Tierney sent off a good shot on target. When Berke Tierney came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the LadysBridge F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berke Tierney couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Tallaght United got a freekick which was hit by Sameer Robinson. In the 92nd minute, Tallaght United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Berke Tierney fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tallaght United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
