In the 4th minute, Darragh Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bevin Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Phelan McAlphie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kerrigan Ghee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Austin McOliver during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KzG Krasowy getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Austin McOliver hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Gordon McBjarton made a precise shot to the right of Bevin Dunne. KzG Krasowy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Darby Rutherford took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bevin Dunne. KzG Krasowy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KzG Krasowy's zone, Gordon McBjarton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bevin Dunne came out of the goal and Gordon McBjarton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Philib Caffey fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drummeen's protests and gave Philib Caffey a yellow card for diving instead. Philib Caffey hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Quaid Benson made the kick off in the second half. Drummeen's Kerrigan Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beanon Duggan in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ravan McFrancise got free with Bevin Dunne in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gordon McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Drummeen's zone, Beanon Duggan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerrigan Ghee came out of the goal and Beanon Duggan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, one of Drummeen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Drummeen:s Kerrigan Ghee showed great skill when he stopped Austin McOliver:s penalty. Kerrigan Ghee came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by KzG Krasowy's Austin McOliver. But to his dismay, Austin McOliver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gordon McBjarton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bevin Dunne firmly grabbed it by the left post. Philib Caffey hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Austin McOliver took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kerrigan Ghee. Drummeen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Drummeen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
