An unexpectedly hard shot by Herne McFrank in the 18th minute of play forced Sabobage's goalkeeper Tathan Dillon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabobage's Tathan Dillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herne McFrank in the 26th minute of play. Herne McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tathan Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brendann Bayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tathan Dillon having to interfere. Tathan Dillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herne McFrank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irwin Doherty's late challenge caught a Reenroe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irwin Doherty helped the player get up and apologised. Brendann Bayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tathan Dillon having to interfere. The Sabobage players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Reenroe were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shea Willson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremiah McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caolán Dempsey having to interfere. If Herne McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tathan Dillon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Reenroe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sabobage.
