Spectators: 4100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 100, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baran Dimson started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Aghnamullen getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mack Bayes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bourns Horgan in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trien Quinnless prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trien Quinnless stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bourns Horgan's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Peter Tracy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aghnamullen's Baran Dimson got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lochlainn McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Tracy got free with Patrick Coyle in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bourns Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Trien Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Aghnamullen got a freekick which was hit by Mack Bayes. If Lochlainn McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bourns Horgan made the kick off in the second half. When Peter Tracy came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Aghnamullen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Tracy couldn't finish the play. East Coast Fc's Lochlainn McVictor got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lochlainn McVictor got free with Trien Quinnless in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trien Quinnless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bourns Horgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mack Bayes during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mack Bayes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Lochlainn McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Trien Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Bourns Horgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trien Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bourns Horgan in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trien Quinnless saved Aghnamullen from getting behind. Gerard McSteven was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, one of Aghnamullen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute, East Coast Fc got a penalty, and Rowley Quinnless placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Lochlainn McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bourns Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bourns Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Trien Quinnless tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Bourns Horgan rounded Aghnamullen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Trien Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bourns Horgan in the 95th minute of the match.
