Toren Coyle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Peter Tracy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edward Palmer. FC Zaragoza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Tracy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 12th minute, Rian McCready had to leave the field with a concussion. Mack Bayes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Mack Bayes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aghnamullen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Richard Frankson made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which George Hunt however managed to control. Roordan Ramsey might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trien Quinnless. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roordan Ramsey ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Randal McSteve got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mack Bayes in the 31st minute of play forced FC Zaragoza's goalkeeper Edward Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trien Quinnless made an important save on a dangerous shot by Randal McSteve in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute FC Zaragoza were awarded a corner. Bivadas MaCollin went to the cornerflag to take it. Toren Coyle struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Trien Quinnless didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zaragoza. Trien Quinnless was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roordan Ramsey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 46 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roordan Ramsey to make the kick off. Trien Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enda Tierney in the 55th minute of the match. Roordan Ramsey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trien Quinnless read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roordan Ramsey in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trien Quinnless saved Aghnamullen from getting behind. A collision led to FC Zaragoza getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bivadas MaCollin hit a great ball. Trien Quinnless showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roordan Ramsey in the 69th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Roordan Ramsey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zaragoza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Barin Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Barin Deery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Aghnamullen got a freekick which was hit by Pearse Hamilton. After 83 minutes, Roordan Ramsey made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Aghnamullen's Trien Quinnless tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Roordan Ramsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Damian McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trien Quinnless took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toren Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ron McWillie's late challenge caught a FC Zaragoza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ron McWillie helped the player get up and apologised.
