Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sean Scully to make the kick off. Heron Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bray Perth having to interfere. Bray Perth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavin Mulvihill in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brion McBrand during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fc Super Tata getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Brion McBrand hit a great ball. Tops's Darby Beckett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Scully in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Baran McNamara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Super Tata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tops the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Fc Super Tata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran McNamara to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes, Fc Super Tata's Baran McNamara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Darby Beckett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Super Tata reached it. If Sean Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Super Tata's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
