Spectators: 4100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 100, VIP seats: 0) Peter Tracy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theodore McJames read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Bearchan Doyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trien Quinnless saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lorcan Willson fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bohemian FC's protests and gave Lorcan Willson a yellow card for diving instead. When Baran Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Aghnamullen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baran Dimson couldn't finish the play. Bearchan Doyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trien Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keely McTommy in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Peter Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aghnamullen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Tracy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 played minutes Baran Dimson rounded Bohemian FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Baran Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mack Bayes's late challenge caught a Bohemian FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mack Bayes helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Aghnamullen got a freekick which was hit by Mack Bayes. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baran Dimson to strike the kick off in the second half. Bohemian FC's Bearchan Doyle got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trien Quinnless made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearchan Doyle in the 57th minute of play. Baran Dimson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theodore McJames having to make a save. After having played for 62 minutes, Peter Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aghnamullen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Tracy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorcan Willson got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th minute, Lorcan Willson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bohemian FC's Theodore McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Tracy in the 70th minute of play. Rylie Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Keely McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bohemian FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Keely McTommy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trien Quinnless breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baran Dimson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Theodore McJames tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodore McJames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Tracy in the 93rd minute of the match.
