The supporters of Sligeach booed when Aghnamullen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Antaine McJames fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sligeach's protests and gave Antaine McJames a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Antaine McJames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Sligeach left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aghnamullen.
