Spectators: 6846 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edward Cassin kicked off to start the match. Bragan Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowland Deans in the 2nd minute of the match. Bragan Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowland Deans in the 4th minute of play. Rowland Deans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bragan Rogers having to make a save. In the 11th minute Rowland Deans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bragan Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rowland Deans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bragan Rogers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradner Mullan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blathmac Savic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Casey Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bragan Rogers having to interfere. Bragan Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowland Deans in the 21st minute of play. Cloonlavis's Bragan Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Hunt in the 22nd minute of play. Rowland Deans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cloonlavis's Bragan Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowland Deans in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Bernard McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes, Cloonlavis's Paudraig Todd shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blathmac Savic came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cloonlavis reached it. After a rather tough play, Rathose's Boylan McLiam got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd match minute, Cloonlavis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paudraig Todd to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match Davie McAaron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bragan Rogers skillfully saved the ball. If Rowland Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rowland Deans got free with Bragan Rogers in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rathose's Reginald Lavine got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blake McWillie kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Casey Hunt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bragan Rogers was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cloonlavis's Blake McWillie got a free kick in the 68th minute. A hard shot 69 in the game by Rowland Deans from a close distance when the talented Bragan Rogers managed to make a qualified save. Cloonlavis's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute, Reginald Lavine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Cloonlavis's goalkeeper Bragan Rogers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rowland Deans. In the 79th minute, Casey Hunt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bragan Rogers. The goal made the score 0-1. Rowland Deans scored 0-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bragan Rogers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Rathose's Boylan McLiam got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded Rathose left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cloonlavis.
