Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Derin Walker made the kick off and thus started the match. When Derin Walker fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neves FC's protests and gave Derin Walker a yellow card for diving instead. Derin Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Derin Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Brendan McFrancise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berrigan Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cormac McFrank in the 17th minute of the match. Brennen Colwell kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Berrigan Sheridan made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Patty Scully sent off a good shot on target. If Derin Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Neves FC's goalkeeper Berrigan Sheridan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peadar Lester. After a defensive mix-up in Neves FC's zone, Peadar Lester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berrigan Sheridan came out of the goal and Peadar Lester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Adamnan McGlynn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendan McFrancise was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Peadar Lester notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Neves FC's Berrigan Sheridan. Berrigan Sheridan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miseal AFC's Bellaghy McBjarton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Berrigan Sheridan but with some difficulty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peadar Lester to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Miseal AFC's Peadar Lester made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berrigan Sheridan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patty Scully struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Berrigan Sheridan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miseal AFC. Derin Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Adamnan McGlynn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miseal AFC's Brendan McFrancise was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Peadar Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berrigan Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Neves FC got a freekick which was hit by Brendan McJames. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Adamnan McGlynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adamnan McGlynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendan McFrancise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Derin Walker fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brendan McFrancise, passed just outside the right post. Derin Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Brendan McFrancise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Neves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patty Scully came free, but Berrigan Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Brennen Colwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cormac McFrank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berrigan Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cormac McFrank in the 94th minute of play. Berrigan Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadar Lester in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Miseal AFC had played much better football throughout.
