Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Miseal AFC booed when Castle Celtic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tirloch Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Brendann Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patty Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Colmcille Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peadar Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendan McFrancise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorcan John, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colmcille Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peadar Lester in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Castle Celtic's Blathmac McTommy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brendan McFrancise was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peadar Lester in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colmcille Gough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bell Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colmcille Gough having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Castle Celtic's goal looked a bit too open when Peadar Lester came free, but Colmcille Gough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peadar Lester came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Miseal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peadar Lester couldn't finish the play. If Bell Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Miseal AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castle Celtic were winning 0-2.

Cormac McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colmcille Gough having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cormac McFrank in the 54th minute of play forced Castle Celtic's goalkeeper Colmcille Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Miseal AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bell Dimson hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Castle Celtic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Kelly to maneuver through the defense. Castle Celtic's Colmcille Gough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cormac McFrank in the 61st minute of play. Colmcille Gough came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Miseal AFC's Patty Scully. But to his dismay, Patty Scully quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 68 minutes into the match, Miseal AFC's Cormac McFrank sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colmcille Gough narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peadar Lester in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colmcille Gough saved Castle Celtic from getting behind. Peadar Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Peadar Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Peadar Lester put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Colmcille Gough. When Peadar Lester came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Miseal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peadar Lester couldn't finish the play. Colmcille Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cormac McFrank in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Castle Celtic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Kelly to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patty Scully in the 84th minute of play forced Castle Celtic's goalkeeper Colmcille Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bec Willson lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Castle Celtic! Peadar Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Colmcille Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Lorcan John had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brendan McFrancise. Miseal AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorcan John was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Patty Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Miseal AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
