Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Branson Gollogley kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Carrickmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branson Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Carrickmore defense, Doney Martyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paudraig Johnson. The Carrickmore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paudraig Johnson should have stopped the shot. Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conaill Prunty in the 8th minute of play. Branson Gollogley might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bran Caffrey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Branson Gollogley ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Conaill Prunty left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrickmore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bran Caffrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branson Gollogley in the 19th minute of play. Finuge Utd's Bran Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conaill Prunty in the 22nd minute of play. Bran Caffrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conaill Prunty in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Bray Branson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes, Carrickmore's Bradon Kirby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bran Caffrey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrickmore reached it. If Branson Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedilia Hutton made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Finuge Utd's Alexander Scully. When Curran Perth came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Finuge Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curran Perth couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Conaill Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrickmore's supporters rose to their feet, but Conaill Prunty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran Caffrey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doney Martyn to make the kick off. When Conaill Prunty came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Carrickmore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conaill Prunty couldn't finish the play. Branson Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Caffrey having to interfere. Conaill Prunty struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Bran Caffrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrickmore. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Bran Caffrey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Finuge Utd's Bray Branson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Branson Gollogley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrickmore's supporters rose to their feet, but Branson Gollogley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran Caffrey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Finuge Utd's Braonain Bayes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Braonain Bayes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Finuge Utd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Braonain Bayes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Finuge Utd! Bradon Kirby walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 70 minutes into the match, Finuge Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Branson Gollogley came free, but Bran Caffrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conaill Prunty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Bran Caffrey made a huge save. Bran Caffrey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conaill Prunty in the 83rd minute. Bran Caffrey was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Brefni McJohn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brefni McJohn really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Carrickmore's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
