In the 4th match minute, Maurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doney McMichel to maneuver through the defense. Harvey Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bray McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Cloonymorris's Duff Callaghan stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Brayden McWill stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Maurs of the goal. Duff Callaghan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brayden McWill having to make a save. Doney McMichel struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Bray McGlenn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maurs. Harvey Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bray McGlenn having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Bannon Silke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cloonymorris and the Maurs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cloonymorris's Bannon Silke got a free kick in the 27th minute. Harvey Morrison succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Biviti Molloy hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duff Callaghan in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brayden McWill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duff Callaghan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brayden McWill came out and tried to block the shot, but Duff Callaghan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. Bray McGlenn came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Maurs's Harvey Morrison. But to his dismay, Harvey Morrison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tipper Colwell made the kick off in the second half. Cloonymorris's Bray McGlenn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Morrison in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Rownun Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Duff Callaghan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brayden McWill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doney McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bray McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Duff Callaghan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Maurs's Brayden McWill. Brayden McWill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhan McGlenn in the 67th minute of play forced Maurs's goalkeeper Brayden McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Cloonymorris's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Morrison came free, but Bray McGlenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tipper Colwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brayden McWill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Cloonymorris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bannon Silke to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes, Berrach Hamilton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maurs and the Cloonymorris players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harvey Morrison struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Bray McGlenn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maurs. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Tipper Colwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cloonymorris's supporters rose to their feet, but Tipper Colwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brayden McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cloonymorris fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maurs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
