Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cloonymorris's Tipper Colwell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tipper Colwell in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bodibeve Ramsey saved Glengort AFC from getting behind. Barran Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tipper Colwell struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Bodibeve Ramsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloonymorris. In the 18th match minute, Cloonymorris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brett Kelly to maneuver through the defense. Bannon Silke kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bardain Todd hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Duff Callaghan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Glengort AFC's Bodibeve Ramsey. Bodibeve Ramsey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Duff Callaghan might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bodibeve Ramsey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duff Callaghan ran back to his position shaking his head. Bivitas Caffrey's late challenge caught a Cloonymorris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bivitas Caffrey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Glengort AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bivitas Caffrey to maneuver through the defense. Bray McGlenn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bardain Todd in the 39th minute of the match. Barran Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Bardain Todd made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Duff Callaghan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cloonymorris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duff Callaghan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tipper Colwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bannon Silke in the 63rd minute of play forced Glengort AFC's goalkeeper Bodibeve Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bivitas Caffrey hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Duff Callaghan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bodibeve Ramsey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Duff Callaghan took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bodibeve Ramsey. Bodibeve Ramsey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Glengort AFC defense, Duff Callaghan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bodibeve Ramsey. The Glengort AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bodibeve Ramsey should have stopped the shot. When Cloonymorris's Duff Callaghan in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glengort AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 played minutes Cloonymorris got a freekick which was hit by Irving McFrank. Glengort AFC's Bodibeve Ramsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duff Callaghan in the 83rd minute of play. Bodibeve Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duff Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the referee ended the match the Cloonymorris players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
