Spectators: 7034 (Terracing: 6034, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin McOliver in the 4th minute of play forced Maurs's goalkeeper Brayden McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Maurs's goal looked a bit too open when Riddoc Martyn came free, but Brayden McWill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riddoc Martyn in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brayden McWill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the game, Harvey Morrison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Devlin Duggan. Harvey Morrison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Devlin Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Morrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Laochra's Devlin Duggan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Laochra from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Laochra's Devlin Duggan got control of the ball when Doney McMichel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doney McMichel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Devlin Duggan made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Laochra's goalkeeper Devlin Duggan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doney McMichel. If Fergal McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorcan McTom hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Morrison in the 48th minute of play forced Laochra's goalkeeper Devlin Duggan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Riddoc Martyn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Riddoc Martyn came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Laochra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riddoc Martyn couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Harvey Morrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harvey Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devlin Duggan having to interfere. Devlin Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doney McMichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Riddoc Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Brayden McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Hayes Glen Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Biviti Molloy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Devlin Duggan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brayden McWill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biddy MaCollin in the 76th minute of play. Laochra's Riddoc Martyn got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doney McMichel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Devlin Duggan saved Laochra from getting behind. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maurs's goalkeeper Brayden McWill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Laochra got a freekick which was hit by Ennis Dillon. 94 minutes into the match, Laochra's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Morrison came free, but Devlin Duggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Laochra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maurs.
