Spectators: 8029 (Terracing: 6023, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brak McJohnny started the match with the kick off. Braydon Scully made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kevin Caffrey however managed to control. Brak McJohnny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maradona's attentive Booak Benson managed to snatch the ball when Braydon Scully made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Brede Delaney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Heron Hamilton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heron Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. Buach Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donn McPhilip, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes, Seoirse Rogers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rosports and the Maradona players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Brak McJohnny came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Maradona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brak McJohnny couldn't finish the play. Maradona's Booak Benson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Braydon Scully, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Donn McPhilip struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Buach Robinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maradona. Donn McPhilip took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Buach Robinson. FC Rosports's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donn McPhilip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Buach Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, FC Rosports's goal looked a bit too open when Brak McJohnny came free, but Buach Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes FC Rosports got a freekick which was hit by Brede Delaney. A hard and well directed shot from Heron Hamilton led 36 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. FC Rosports's Buach Robinson became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Maradona's attentive Booak Benson managed to snatch the ball when Braydon Scully made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. After 43 minutes of play, Maradona's Donn McPhilip made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buach Robinson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 46 minutes, Júlio Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maradona and the FC Rosports players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pauric McStephen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Brak McJohnny in the 53rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Buach Robinson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Donn McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buach Robinson having to interfere. FC Rosports's Buach Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brak McJohnny in the 61st minute of play. Fionntán Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pauric McStephen in the 67th minute of play forced Maradona's goalkeeper Bradner Scully to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Rosports's Buach Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Rosports from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, FC Rosports's goalkeeper Buach Robinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thom McLaughlin. Brak McJohnny was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Maradona's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The throw-in from Braydon Scully in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Maradona's Booak Benson. In the 86th match minute, Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Booak Benson to maneuver through the defense. Bradner Scully showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pauric McStephen in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, one of Maradona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maradona. Donn McPhilip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Buach Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Maradona left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Rosports.
