Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Donagheumper's goal looked a bit too open when Beollan Lavine came free, but Bram Frankson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Donagheumper booed when Clooneagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fergus McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevis Delaney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coran McStephen having to interfere. Heremon Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Coran McStephen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Bram Frankson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fergus McCready in the 15th minute. A collision led to Donagheumper getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Binne Grant hit a great ball. Bram Frankson made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Fergus McCready sent off a good shot on target. Clooneagh's Coran McStephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevis Delaney in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Heremon Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donagheumper's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heremon Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bram Frankson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beollan Lavine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Donagheumper's Kevis Delaney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Coran McStephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute Beollan Lavine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Frankson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Terrence McAlphie sped through Donagheumper's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bram Frankson. Terrence McAlphie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Donagheumper's Bram Frankson got control of the ball when Fergus McCready tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Giles Gillmour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Boroimhe McIan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coran McStephen skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heremon Byrne was the one to do the kick off. If Kevis Delaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cashel Murphy hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Donagheumper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boroimhe McIan to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Rowen McAlphie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevis Delaney scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Coran McStephen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Beollan Lavine had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bram Frankson. Donagheumper's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beollan Lavine was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 79 minutes into the game, Terrence McAlphie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clooneagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donagheumper the free kick. A collision led to Clooneagh getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Terrence McAlphie hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Heremon Byrne fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Donagheumper's Kevis Delaney got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevis Delaney's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Coran McStephen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heremon Byrne in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coran McStephen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Beollan Lavine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bram Frankson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beollan Lavine in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Donagheumper's zone, Beollan Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bram Frankson came out of the goal and Beollan Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beollan Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bram Frankson having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clooneagh fans cheered their team off the field, for while Donagheumper had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
