The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Beollan Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danann Glen Crowe having to interfere. Fergus McCready recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fergus McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremiah McOliver hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in CounterHeadQuarters F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Rowen McAlphie placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a defensive mix-up in Clooneagh's zone, Kain Horgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coran McStephen came out of the goal and Kain Horgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fergus McCready came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Clooneagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fergus McCready couldn't finish the play. Beollan Lavine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danann Glen Crowe having to interfere. Beollan Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danann Glen Crowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beollan Lavine, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Fergus McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Beollan Lavine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gearóid Branson might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Coran McStephen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gearóid Branson ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gearóid Branson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Clooneagh's Fergus McCready nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danann Glen Crowe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beollan Lavine in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danann Glen Crowe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Clooneagh getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tadhg Hutton hit a great ball. Kain Horgan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Coran McStephen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danann Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beollan Lavine in the 79th minute of play. Beollan Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Danann Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beollan Lavine succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 88th minute, Fergus McCready ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danann Glen Crowe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gearóid Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Coran McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the CounterHeadQuarters F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clooneagh.
