Paudraig McLaughlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beolagh McDonald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Illanbaun Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branson Scully to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Brayden McSteven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beolagh McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beolagh McDonald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paudraig McLaughlin in the 13th minute of play. Beolagh McDonald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paudraig McLaughlin in the 18th minute of the match. Beolagh McDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branson Scully, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Branson Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beolagh McDonald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Torey Hunt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Duff McPhil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beolagh McDonald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brayden McSteven's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Beolagh McDonald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paudraig McLaughlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Illanbaun Utd's Paudraig McLaughlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beolagh McDonald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paudraig McLaughlin was the one to do the kick off. Trien McFrancise scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duff McPhil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Paudraig McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paudraig McLaughlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Beolagh McDonald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duff McPhil came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Breaghwy's Torey Hunt. But to his dismay, Torey Hunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Beolagh McDonald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brayden McSteven in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Breaghwy's Beanon Glen Crowe got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Paudraig McLaughlin fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Illanbaun Utd's protests and gave Paudraig McLaughlin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Illanbaun Utd getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paudraig McLaughlin hit a great ball. Art McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Terrence McBrand kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Terrence McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breaghwy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
