Spectators: 8085 (Terracing: 6065, Seating: 1859, VIP seats: 161) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fintan McFrancise kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Clooncan's zone, Baine Horgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brenan Gillmour came out of the goal and Baine Horgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johan-Sebastián Rekawiczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Keegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fintan McFrancise, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17th play minutes Rylie Johnson shot 0-1, a short shot which went by John Keegan and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Clooncan's Teigue Costello got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute, Rylie Johnson made a precise shot to the right of John Keegan. Mad Souls™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mateusz Kapusta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Mad Souls™'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mad Souls™'s Mateusz Kapusta got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brenan Gillmour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Kapusta, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Baine Horgan in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brenan Gillmour, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. John Keegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rylie Johnson in the 43rd minute of the match. Fintan McFrancise's late challenge caught a Mad Souls™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fintan McFrancise helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Clooncan's Fintan McFrancise got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateusz Kapusta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Baine Horgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mad Souls™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baine Horgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Mateusz Kapusta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brenan Gillmour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Mateusz Kapusta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Brenan Gillmour was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baine Horgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rylie Johnson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but John Keegan made a huge save. The nice shot from Rylie Johnson in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but John Keegan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Clooncan's Beccan Myler got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateusz Kapusta in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brenan Gillmour saved Clooncan from getting behind. Baine Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Brenan Gillmour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
