Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 5983, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beccan Cooney took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes, Brite Silke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mully and the Baltovin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Mully got a freekick which was hit by Brite Silke. The supporters of Baltovin booed when Mully was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brite Silke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilian McFrank charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilian McFrank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mully getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gilian McFrank hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Baine Horgan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Breanne Cooney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Brite Silke was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. In the 14th match minute, Mully was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brite Silke to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Beccan Cooney put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Breanne Cooney. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beccan Cooney in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breanne Cooney saved Mully from getting behind. After having played for 19 minutes, Beccan Cooney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baltovin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beccan Cooney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breanne Cooney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shea Hunt in the 20th minute of play. Breanne Cooney came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Baltovin's Beccan Cooney. But to his dismay, Beccan Cooney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beccan Cooney in the 26th minute of play forced Mully's goalkeeper Breanne Cooney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Baltovin's goalkeeper Banon Cronin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boyd Gollogley. Breanne Cooney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beccan Cooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th match minute, Mully was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyd Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. Breanne Cooney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beccan Cooney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beccan Cooney in the 45th minute of play forced Mully's goalkeeper Breanne Cooney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mully getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Batt Branson hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, Baltovin's Baine Horgan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Breanne Cooney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baltovin reached it. Beccan Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boethis Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. When Boethis Byrne fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mully's protests and gave Boethis Byrne a yellow card for diving instead. Boethis Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Baltovin's Baine Horgan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Breanne Cooney but with some difficulty. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Baltovin. Beccan Cooney stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Breanne Cooney. 0-3. In the 60th match minute, Mully was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyd Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. Beccan Cooney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beccan Cooney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Breanne Cooney made a huge save. Banon Cronin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batt Branson in the 68th minute of play. Beccan Cooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Breanne Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brenna McNamara fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baltovin's protests and gave Brenna McNamara a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mully booed when Baltovin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenna McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Baltovin's Beccan Cooney ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Breanne Cooney. Breanne Cooney yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Beccan Cooneys short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Breanne Cooney to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 90 minutes into the match, Beccan Cooney dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Breanne Cooney, 0-5. Shea Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mully's Breanne Cooney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Mully from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beccan Cooney in the 97th minute of play forced Mully's goalkeeper Breanne Cooney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltovin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
